Community & Forum Guidelines

Last Updated:  November 11, 2025

1) What This Is

Official community guidelines for Tennessee Pride Apparel. Rules for posting product reviews, forum discussions, and user photos. Respectful, apolitical, and focused on Tennessee heritage.

2) Our Values:  Respecting Tennessee Roots

  • Belonging: Everyone’s welcome on the porch.

  • Respect: Disagree without being disagreeable.

  • Real Tennessee: Honest stories, no performative snark.

  • Safety first: People over hot takes.

3) Be a Good Neighbor (do’s)

  • Be kind, specific, and constructive.

  • Credit sources; share your own photos only (or get permission).

  • Mark opinions as opinions; share facts with links when possible.

  • Keep posts on topic (Tennessee places, stories, events, clothing, hats, apparel., care tips, etc.).

  • Use clear titles and tags so others can find things.

4) Hard No’s (don’ts)

  • Harassment or hate: Slurs, threats, bullying, dog-whistles, or demeaning stereotypes.

  • Illegal or dangerous content: Violence, doxxing, stolen goods, instructions for harm.

  • Spam or self-promo: Ads, referral links, MLM, repetitive link-drops, AI-generated spam.

  • NSFW or obscene: Pornographic or shock content; graphic violence.

  • Impersonation or deception: Pretending to be someone else; fake reviews.

  • Private info: Don’t share someone’s personal details without consent.

  • IP violations: Don’t post content you don’t have the right to share (logos, team marks, copyrighted art, etc.).

5) Friendly Rivalry, Not Hostility

Sports and county pride are welcome; personal attacks aren’t. “Rivalry” ends where another person’s dignity begins.

6) Buying & Selling Tennessee Pride Gear

  • Peer-to-peer sales or ticket swaps are not permitted in forums.

  • Charity solicitations must be approved in writing by Tennessee Pride.

  • We do not allow the resale of used items on our official forums to ensure quality control.

7) Photos & People

  • Get permission to post recognizable people—especially kids.

  • No secretly recorded images or license plates close-up.

  • Include basic context (place, date, event) when useful.

8) AI-Assisted Content

  • Allowed if disclosed and original. No mass-produced or misleading AI posts. You’re responsible for accuracy and rights.

9) Language & Tone

  • Keep it PG-13. Mild cussing is okay; insults are not.

  • Use clear, non-sarcastic tone in sensitive threads (memorials, disasters, community needs).

10) Moderation & Enforcement

We moderate for safety, clarity, and vibe. Actions we may take:

  1. Nudge/ edit for clarity (typos, tags, formatting)

  2. Warning (explain issue, link to rule)

  3. Content removal (post/comment)

  4. Limited privileges (read-only, cooldown)

  5. Temporary suspension

  6. Permanent ban (for severe or repeated violations)

Zero-tolerance: credible threats, hate speech, doxxing, illegal content.

11) Reporting
